The Dispensing Equipment Alliance (DEA) is established for the purpose of providing superior leadership and fostering the awareness of chemical dispensing technology and its impact on public health and safety through comprehensive educational activities, products, codes and standards, and public awareness initiatives.
In addition, the DEA will serve as a clearinghouse of experience, ideas, and information to further the objectives and sustain interest on behalf of the DEA membership.

IAPMO®, a global team of experts engaging industry and government for a safer built environment, last week conducted its 2026 annual Education and Business Conference at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, concluding the association’s yearlong celebration of its founding 100 years ago in the City of Angels.
IAPMO® today announced that Dain Hansen, executive vice president of Government Relations, has been appointed by the U.S. Trade Representative and U.S. Secretary of Commerce to serve on the U.S. Government’s Industry Trade Advisory Committee (ITAC).
IAPMO® has published a Formal Interpretation (FI 006) to the 2024 Uniform Plumbing Code®(UPC®) in accordance with Section 6-4.2 of the Regulations Governing Committee Projects.
