The Dispensing Equipment Alliance (DEA) is established for the purpose of providing superior leadership and fostering the awareness of chemical dispensing technology and its impact on public health and safety through comprehensive educational activities, products, codes and standards, and public awareness initiatives.
In addition, the DEA will serve as a clearinghouse of experience, ideas, and information to further the objectives and sustain interest on behalf of the DEA membership.

IAPMO R&T is pleased to announce that its Monterrey-based IAPMO Mexico laboratory is now a recognized testing facility for American cUPC standards. This expanded scope allows the lab to support certification to multiple American standards, including NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 for lead content compliance.
IAPMO®, developer of the Uniform Solar, Hydronics and Geothermal Code® (USHGC®) and Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code® (USPSHTC®), and Water Efficiency and Sanitation Standard® (WE•Stand®) has posted online the 2026 Report on Comments (ROC) for the 2027 editions of these prospective American National Standard-designated model codes.
IAPMO® signed two memorandums of understanding (MOUs) during the 14th World Plumbing Conference, held in Birmingham, United Kingdom, establishing expanded international collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE).
